Visitor Parking

Parking & Accessibility

Car parking is clearly signed from the centre of Stanhope. Please follow the directions for the visitor car park.

You will be directed to a safe car parking area by our experienced parking stewards.

If you have mobility issues please let the stewards know and they will direct you to the designated area of the car park.  This is close to the showground but there is a short walk on flat grass and then a path leading to the ticket booth.

Please do remember the showfield can be uneven and there may be hidden indentations and areas where animals have trodden which can cause difficulty walking. In wet conditions the grass will become slippery.

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG OR ANY OTHER ANIMALS UNATTENDED IN YOUR CAR. DOGS DIE IN HOT CARS.

Where is the showground?

We are located beside the B6278 road which leads to Eggleston and Teesdale. Access is good for visitors travelling from all directions as Stanhope is located on the cross-roads formed by the intersection of the B6278 and the A689 road.
