We welcomed the announcement by the Government on Monday 22nd February regarding the roadmap for lifting lockdown restrictions. Whilst we are aware that many shows held early in the year have already taken appropriate action to cancel or postpone their shows, this announcement has given us renewed encouragement that Stanhope Show 2021 can go ahead.

The guidance is as follows:
“No earlier than 21 June:
- All legal limits on social contact will be removed
- No legal limits on the number of people who can attend weddings, funerals and other life events. From April, the government will run pilots for events such as large weddings, festivals and work conferences. This will help to determine how measures such as enhanced testing might allow large groups to attend without social distancing

We would like to once again assure you that safety is our ultimate concern and as such a final decision will be taken by the committee in late spring. This decision will be based on the latest guidance from the UK Government.
