Bring Your Dog
Showground open from 9am for visitors, from 7am for exhibitors and competitors.
Dogs are welcome but please keep them on a short lead and must be under control at all times. Please do not take dogs into the “Fur & Feather” marquee or near the horse or agricultural sections. Please pick up after your dog.
We offer inclusive dog shows at Stanhope Show…and as always welcome our doggy visitors to the show.
Saturday sees the return of KC Dog Obedience...always terrific to watch….see how it should be done with perfect cooperation and work between handler and dog.
Watch the wonderful Dog Agility classes and for our beloved furry friends who may not be Kennel Club registered…enjoy the fun in our Companion Dog Show.
On Sunday the Lurcher, Terrrier and Whippet Shows take place. See more here.
As you would expect, all dogs must kept on a lead unless competing. Dog poop must be cleaned up from the showfield, car parks and adjoining areas and footpaths. We look forward to your cooperation with this.
