Sunday 10th September
On Sunday 10th September we introduce something new for Stanhope Show. Anyone bringing their dog to the show can have a go at the fun Gundog Scurry. How is your dog’s retrieving? Can he or she clear the straw bales to successfully retrieve and return a dummy? Yes? No? It doesn’t matter! This promises to be a lot of fun. Is interactive for all with a family pet and is fantastic spectator sport.
Once again we have been succesful in securing championship Cumberland and Westmorland Wrestling. This year sees the World Championships for the under 18/10 stone category. We welcome our friends from all over the North as they compete and watch this fantastic, traditional sport.
For our thrill seekers, we have secured Lee Musselwhite’s FMX Freestyle Motocross team. Enjoy the gravity defying stunts, this is not to be missed!
There will of course be bands in the Members Marquee from 4pm on Sunday 10th September. Details will be announced in due course. This is strictly members only.
